  • The action and benefits of minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorous, magnesium, potassium and sodium, and deficiency symptoms
  • Different nutritional requirements of women at different life stages, including puberty, pregnancy and lactation
  • Nutritional requirements for infants, growing children and teenagers, and eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia
  • Special nutritional requirements of older people and sportspersons, and the duties, responsibilities and job profile of nutritionists
