If you contact us on WhatsApp — by messaging our business number +44 1582 958844, by tapping a “WhatsApp Us” link on this website, or by replying to a message we have sent you — your message reaches us through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Your use of WhatsApp itself is also governed by Meta’s own privacy policy.

What we receive and store. When you message us we hold your WhatsApp phone number, the WhatsApp profile name you have set, the content of your message, and the date and time it was sent. Nothing else is taken from your WhatsApp account; we cannot see your other chats, your contacts or your profile photo.

Where it is held, and for how long. These messages are stored in a secure, access-controlled service hosted by Cloudflare on our behalf, and are deleted automatically after 7 days. We also keep a short record of when you last messaged us, for up to 24 hours, because WhatsApp only permits a business to reply freely within 24 hours of your message.

Why we hold it. Solely so that we can read your enquiry and reply to it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest — responding to someone who has chosen to contact us about our courses.

What we do not do. We do not send marketing or promotional messages over WhatsApp, and we do not add your number to any marketing list. If your enquiry becomes a booking, the details you give us are then held as a booking record under Data Retention above.
