Food Safety Level 4 is the final step in food safety learning, designed for managers and supervisors who have completed earlier levels and want to deepen their knowledge and build new skills.
The course starts by looking at how managers can create a food safety programme that fits their business, including how to recognise food safety risks in the workplace. It also covers how to maintain such programmes and which procedures are recommended, along with more in-depth training strategies so you can pass this knowledge on to other managers, supervisors and staff.
The course also looks at some of the more overlooked areas of food safety and hygiene, so you finish with a full understanding of how to keep risks to a minimum.
You will learn:
- How to develop an effective food safety programme for your business
- A more in-depth look at food safety procedures and legislation
- How to maintain high standards of food safety in the long term
- How to properly train colleagues in food safety and hygiene
- How to manage cleaning and waste disposal techniques
The course comprises 5 modules (around 3 hours of learning): Recognising Food Safety Risks, Developing a Food Safety Programme, Food Safety Legislation, Training at a Higher Level of Food Safety, and Cleaning and Waste Disposal Techniques.
