Safer Recruitment Certification

This Safer Recruitment course teaches the importance of recruiting safely for roles that involve working with children and adults at risk, helping you recognise the dangers if the wrong person is employed or allowed to volunteer.

You will become familiar with the procedures and protocols required to avoid mistakes when recruiting into “regulated work” — roles that involve working directly with children or adults at risk.

You will learn

• The checks and investigations required to ensure you have the right candidate
• How to implement induction and training programmes when onboarding staff
• How to apply safe recruitment practices to volunteers
