These rodents also make great first pets for young children, university students living independently for the first time, and even classrooms. This course covers everything you need to know to keep the rats, mice and hamsters in your care happy and healthy. It begins by introducing rodent ownership and the differences between common household pets, along with a review of the environmental needs each rodent has. The second module covers how to keep your rodent in good health, including dietary needs and how to spot signs of illness.

- Why you should never give a hamster a bath
