Privacy and Dignity in Care Certification

This course is designed for healthcare professionals, such as nurses, doctors and care workers, who want to strengthen their understanding of privacy and dignity in care and improve the quality of care they provide. It also offers useful advice for anyone caring for a loved one at home.

Many carers are well trained and competent at providing physical care, but they also need to understand the emotional and psychological needs of the people they support, so those in their care are treated in a way that strengthens self-esteem and helps maintain their autonomy.

This course helps you understand the complexity of dealing sensitively with people who need care, from childhood to end-of-life, by respecting their privacy and maintaining their dignity throughout.

The course contains 5 modules (around 3.75 hours of learning), each including a quiz.
