The recent rise in terrorist attacks and extremist activities has become a growing concern in Britain, with the threat of radicalisation of young people by extremist groups particularly alarming. The Department for Education strongly recommends instilling British values from the early years as a means of counteracting the risk of radicalisation.
Including British values training motivates students to resist radicalisation and helps them develop into mature, well-adjusted adults who can positively contribute to life in modern Britain.
