Emergency First Aid at Work — one day, £95

A valid first aid certificate is a mandatory entry requirement for the Door Supervisor course and the Door Supervisor Refresher. We run Emergency First Aid at Work regularly and can usually fit you in shortly before your SIA course. You can add it when you book your SIA course, or book it on its own. Call 01582 958844 to confirm the next available day.

How booking works

Choose your course, choose your date from the dropdown on the course page, add any options you need and pay online. Payment by card is handled securely by Stripe, and an interest-free payment plan is available through Klarna. Once you have booked we send joining instructions confirming daily start and finish times, what to bring and how to find us.

Places on every course are limited so that each learner gets proper attention during the practical and assessed sessions. If the date you want no longer appears in the dropdown it is because it is full — call 01582 958844 and we will put you on the list for the next available course.

What to bring on the day

  • Photographic identification and proof of address, as set out on each course page.
  • Your National Insurance number.
  • Your valid first aid certificate, if you already hold one and are attending a Door Supervisor course or refresher.
  • Something to write with. Workbooks and learning materials are provided.

Where the training takes place

Skills Pad Training Centre, 33 Park Street West, Luton, LU1 3BE. The centre is walkable from Luton railway station and Luton town centre, and is served by local bus routes. Learners travel to us from Luton, Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Stevenage, St Albans and north London.

Skills Pad is a training provider. We are not the Security Industry Authority. Passing a licence-linked qualification is a requirement for the matching SIA licence, but the SIA decides every application itself after its own identity and criminal record checks.
